Almira D. – معلم لغة إنجليزية للأطفال

I am Teacher Almira and I'm from the Philippines. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and I am a TEFL-certified English teacher who had taught ESL students from preschoolers to adults. I specialize in teaching reading, writing, and pronunciation. I had also served as an accent and conversational English (ACE) coach at a call center, helping out young professionals improve their communication skills in English. I was raised in a multi-cultural community in Papua New Guinea. I was only 6 years old when my family migrated to another country and I struggled during my first year as an ESL student surrounded by native English speakers. I understand that learning a new language can be a tough experience for a lot of people. Hence, in my class, I make sure that I provide a safe and fun environment for easy learning. I believe in fostering creativity and encouraging individuality in order to bring out the best in all my students. When I'm not working, I like to paint, read books, write stories, blog, listen to pop music, and watch horror and mystery movies.
