Updates to payments via bank transfer

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for your patience with payments this week. It’s been a difficult situation, but we’ve been working hard to get things back to normal for everyone.

We will no longer be sending money via Transferwise and all teachers who receive their salaries in this way MUST amend their details.

These are your options:

    1. Transfer to a Payoneer account. This is like a Paypal account. You can receive money there in your salary’s currency and then withdraw it to whatever bank account you want. If you want this option please write to the admin chat on Skype the following message:

      METHODOLOGY: I want to receive money to my Payoneer account.

      Once we receive it, we will send you a link to set up your Payoneer account. When you have set up your account, you must update the information in the wallet line of your to <PAYONEER: your email>. Then, send the following message to us, and we will pay you straight away if you haven’t been paid yet, or on the next pay day if you’ve been paid already:

      METHODOLOGY: I have set up my Payoneer account AND updated my wallet. I am ready to be paid.

  1. Bank transfer via Payoneer. All bank transfers are now going through Payoneer now, rather than Transferwise. All Right will shoulder the conversion costs as well as the $3 transfer fee. If you have already registered and been paid into a Payoneer account (or even Paypal), you are more than welcome to switch to this payment method for your next paycheque. Here are your instructions:

    METHODOLOGY: I want to receive money to my bank account.

    Once we receive it, we will send you a link to set up a Payoneer account (yes, it’s Payoneer, but it will go directly to your bank without fees). When you have set up your account, you must update the information in the wallet line of your to <BANK TRANSFER: your email>. Then, send the following message to us, and we will pay you straight away if you haven’t been paid yet, or on the next pay day if you’ve been paid already:

    METHODOLOGY: I have set up my Payoneer account AND updated my wallet. I am ready to be paid into my bank account.

  2. Paypal: Super easy! Everyone should know how to use Paypal by now. We can pay you in your salary’s currency, although you might be required to accept the payment once we send it. Then, you can transfer it to your own bank account. If you switch to PayPal, please update your wallet as so: <PAYPAL: your email>. The message:

    METHODOLOGY: I want to receive money to Paypal account AND updated my wallet. My Paypal email is _____________.

    Once we receive this message, we will pay you immediately if you haven’t been paid yet, or on your next paycheque if you have been paid already.

Teachers, please note: We cannot provide case by case support for using Payoneer or Paypal. We urge you to please contact their customer services departments if you have any issues at all setting up an account or withdrawing money. By asking us questions which we cannot answer you are only delaying your own salary and the salaries of your fellow teachers, so please avoid asking us questions about these services until you’ve received an answer from their own customer support.

Additionally, please only send the request for the link once. We will answer the queries first where we see the correct message written to the team. Asking the same question again and again and asking for updates will again, only slow down our response time to everyone and will prevent us completing our goal to help as many teachers as possible.
