Hello! I am Bernadette. You can call me Berna. I am thrilled to be your English teacher. I have been teaching English since 2010. I am dedicated to helping students explore the world of English language. I have graduated Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting. However, I have a passion for languages and cultural exchange, and I truly believe that learning a new language opens doors to new opportunities and enriches our lives. For this reason, I decided to get TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate and TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) Certificate. So, I have had the privilege of teaching English to students from various backgrounds and levels of proficiency. I have taught various levels of students from different countries such as Korean, Saudi, Chinese, Polish, Turkish, and Japanese. And, I'm committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where we can all learn and grow together. In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading books, especially self-help books. I am also fond of going for a walk and exercising. I like truly enjoy nature. I like looking at the sunrise, sunset, moon and stars. I am also into listening to podcasts and watching movies. My teaching philosophy revolves around interactive and communicative learning. I aim to create lessons that encourage active participation, meaningful conversations, and practical language use. Whether you're looking to improve your speaking, listening, reading, or writing skills, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.
