Hello! It's teacher Maria over here. I like reading books, hiking, stargazing, and attending speaking clubs in my free time. But you are here to learn English, so let me introduce myself from a professional perspective. My main teaching style lies in the Communicative approach which I think is the most effective and practical one. I want my students to speak most of the time, so increasing the student talk time is important to me. The point of teaching a language is to immerse the student into it and teach it like a child, naturally and simply. So, the student first learns to understand what's going on around him, and then starts producing the language, he touches things and names them, he tastes the food and names it, etc. So using visual aids, commands, role plays, dialogues and gamification is about my style.
