Hello English learners and future stars! My name is Gemma Lou, but you can call me Teacher Gemma. I come from the beautiful country of the Philippines. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and have been teaching for over 5 years now. Additionally, I am TEFL certified, which means I have specialized training in teaching English as a second language. In my free time, I love playing with my children and baking delicious treats for them. These activities not only bring me joy but also inspire me to bring creativity and warmth into my teaching. I have a wide range of teaching experience, including 4 years in a traditional classroom setting and over 3 years as an ESL teacher. I adapt my teaching style and strategies to fit each student's unique level and needs. With my neutral accent, students can easily understand and follow along. I ensure that every student feels comfortable and confident in our class, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
