Hello there! My name's April and I'm from the Philippines. I have been an ESL teacher for over 4 years to Asian and European students. I am also a licensed professional teacher handling both Language and Reading classes. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I also obtained my TEFL certificate from the 120-hour TEFL course. When I teach, I really focus on creating a welcoming space where students can feel comfortable expressing themselves. I believe learning a language should be fun and interactive, so I love using hands-on activities, lively discussions, and real-life situations to bring the lessons to life. I try to tailor my lessons to fit different learning styles, using a mix of technology, visual aids, and creative projects to keep things engaging. I also enjoy sharing cultural insights because I think it makes learning richer and more meaningful.
