Features of learning English at the age of 10-12
Systemic learning
Children aged 10-12 are already able to concentrate on more complex tasks, better understand the structure of language, and see the logic in grammar.
Interest in the real world
Students of this age are interested in topics related to technology, the environment, and hobbies. Through such topics, language is acquired naturally and consciously.
Developing independence
Children of this age learn to work with texts, formulate their own thoughts, and present ideas. It is important for them to have space for self-expression.
Don't miss out!
At the age of 10-12, children are ready not only to learn but also to actively use the language in communication, projects, and texts. This is the optimal period for transitioning from basic knowledge to confident mastery.
How we teach children aged 10-12
Lessons for this age group take into account children's growing independence and need for more meaningful learning. We work with topics that are truly interesting to them — hobbies, technology, travel, nature — and design tasks so that students can discuss, analyze, and express their opinions in English. Our teachers create a supportive environment without fear of mistakes, helping students think in English, develop linguistic logic and critical thinking, and use the language with confidence.

The course develops language skills, writing, creativity, and a responsible attitude toward online content.
More about developmental mini-courses
What level of knowledge will the child acquire?
The course corresponds to the Pre-A1 Starters, A1 Movers, and A2 Flyers levels of the Cambridge YLE system and is adapted to the age characteristics of students aged 10-12. After completing the course, children will be able to confidently communicate on everyday and academic topics, understand texts, construct more complex sentences, and use basic grammatical tenses.
Controlled disclosure method
We use active learning principles: children learn through research, questions, and their own conclusions. Instead of ready-made rules, students analyze language situations, notice patterns, and discover rules on their own with the support of the teacher. This approach develops linguistic thinking, interest in learning, and a deeper understanding of the language.
